This off-dry and ever popular wine has a light, fresh character achieved by carefully blending the different grape varieties and partially ageing in American oak. Lovely fruit aromas with supple delicate flavours and a just off-dry style resulting in a wine ideal for drinking with or without food.

The combination of soil types (limestone-pebbly and chalky) and age of the vines, ensures a ‘special cuvée’ with fantastic complexity, great purity of fruit and near-perfect balance. Cuvée des Mages is only made in very good years.

No notes of flint here, but rather a finesse and purity of Sauvignon fruit. Fruit driven with aromas of lime and gooseberry fruits, hints of smokiness on the nose, crisp and smooth in the mouth with appealing flesh and a purity.

This very successful oaked style wine has been made at Sharpham since 1992 and is one of the few English wines to be fermented in new oak barriques. The aromas and flavours are complex, balanced and give a wine that has great finesse.

Produced by one of Chile’s top wineries, this Merlot Rosé is zingy and fresh with succulent damson fruits that rattle the senses!

Domaine Houchart Rose,
A wine made for easy summer-time drinking. An ideal wine for red wine drinkers who want a lighter alternative when the temperature rises. A wine with some substance and structure showing ripe strawberry fruit with a slight tannic grip and a juicy finish.

CAVA. Castell d'Olerdola Brut Reserva £28.00
This excellent dry cava has a fine bead, a fine delicate aroma, slightly lemony nose, with touches of butter and yeast from ageing. With its 18 months to 2 years cellarage the cava acquires a good structure and elegant personality.

Fine bubbles and a nose of fresh fruit and hawthorn. Smooth, complex palate mingling flavours of white-fleshed fruit (apple and pear) with red berries (blackberries, raspberries, cherries) and notes of toast and almonds.
